I'm ready for it! Come on, bring it!

I’ll go into more depth tomorrow, but for now, this…

Best. B Movie. Ever.

We howled with laughter. We were startled repeatedly. If you have any inclination at all to see Snakes on a Plane, then go see it. Great stuff. Incredibly entertaining. Great film? Of course not. Great summer movie? Absolutely. Worth the wait, worth the buzz, worth the money, worth going to a late-night Thursday showing the night before a road trip. I want to see it again, and soon.

It was great! One of the best movies of the summer, nay THE best movie of the summer.

i don’t know if you saw this, but it’s good for a few hours of fun…

Best movie atmosphere I’ve ever been in. Cheering all around, chanting when people in the movie needed encouragement. Laughter, people yelling hillarious stuff, rubber snakes flying around. Absolutely fantastic. Had half the theater standing up for the famous line everyone was waiting for. Had two complainers in the theater about everyone yelling, but nothing big. Samuel Jacksons name at the beginning grew everyone cheering, people chanting for snakes to come during the boring parts.

Absolutely fantastic.

Is Jackson’s character essentially Jules Winnfield of Pulp Fiction having to deal with Snakes on a Plane?

By the way, how much longer do I have to wait for the big review you promised me???? Have fun in Chicago.

OK. Understand this about me. I am a BIGTIME movie person. I love movies, but I am still divided on this one. I read reviews online that said: Story:Grade F
Directing:F

Acting:F

Overall:A+…huh?

I’m trying to figure this out.It has a plot line with more holes than Swiss cheese, questionable acting, questionable directing, but it’s a good movie? It sounds to me like some Hollywood director has found a way to get people to spend their hard earned money on a terrible movie, just because it has ONE famous actor and a bunch of internet hype.Well,I’m sorry but I’m not spending $8.00 to see something I know is bad. I will watch it when it comes out to rent…just out of curiosity. But my curiosity isn’t going to help fatten the wallets of the people who made this bad movie…that is apparently at least entertaining. In the parlence of our times…That’s just like, uh, my opinion ,man. I just don’t like movies that are basically just a gimmick. I want to see good plot lines, convincing acting, and… Ah, heck, I lost my train of thought… I just can’t justify watching a movie simply because it got a lot of hype. Same reason I waited for Forest Gump to come out for rent. Too much hype. I knew I would have expectations that were too high. Sure enough, I thought it was silly with a whole bunch of gimmicks that made people talk about it,which in turn made more people go see it. If it weren’t for Tom Hanks being an outstanding actor, that movie would have flopped.

It depends on what you’re looking for, I guess. It wasn’t badly acted at all, I thought.

It was not a great film. It was a great movie. Does that make sense? You could tell all the way through that they had a great time making it.

If you don’t want to go see it, hey, no skin off my nose. But it was everything that I hoped they would do with it.

i saw it today. someone sitting in the back of the theater brought a rubber snake and threw it during the scene where the snake bites the woman trying to throw up. both the movie and the prank were amazing.
