Monday early tidbits: Carp throws, Thompson up, plus the lineup
We haven’t talked to TLR yet, but I wanted to get a couple of pieces of news out to y’all:
* Chris Carpenter played catch today, and hopes to throw off a mound sometime this coming weekend or perhaps early next week.
* Brad Thompson has been recalled, and P.J. Walters has been sent out.
Today’s lineup vs RHP Joe Blanton:
