If Ludwick wants to break out and start rackin’ ‘em up… tonight would be a good time to start. Go Cards! Also, hope to see Rick Hummel tweeting soon.

Ryan was limping late in last evening’s game and I see he is not starting tonite. Any news on his condition?
Cramped up. Will have something on it in the tidbits.

Why does TLR keep starting Skip at 2nd base, he’s actually giving us a negative WAR at the moment, because his bat can’t make up for his poor defense at 2nd. He’s got a UZR of -8.9. I think the best defensive lineup you could go with as of right now is: 1B-Albert Pujols, 2B-Joe Thurston, SS-Brendan Ryan, 3B-Tyler Greene, LF-Skip Schumaker, CF-Colby Rasmus, RF-Ankiel/Ludwick, C-Yadier Molina. That is until management finally makes a move for a 2nd baseman and/or 3rd baseman. Both would be exceptionally nice.
Jackson, worn out from pitching to/walking Pujols, meets Duncan… with two out, two on… and he swings at the first pitch bouncing out, lamely, to first. Last night, even in the blow-out, men on and pitchers not showing good control and we’re swinging at the first pitch… aaaaargh.
