Up against Santana, with Carp on our hill, THIS is where men become MEN. Go get ‘em Cards!

I am puzzled by Thurston at 2b while Skip is in the outfield against the lefty Santana. Does that mean Tony trusts the left-handed Thurston more than T. Greene, Rasmus, or Duncan?
I like Khalil Greene at third base, like how Tony La Russa is thinking. Carpenter is getting the job done tonight. Let’s get that W and go back home and start against the Twins off a win.

Anybody see Duncan and Ankiel for Mark Derosa in the near future.
For the sake of the Cards, I truly hope that KGreene becomes an allstar at 3B but right now he too often looks like a deer caught in the headlights when a ball is hit his way and there are already runners on base. The shine he gathered after those 3 HRs last week is beginning to wear off. I would trade Duncan for a batboy. Anybody would be a little daffy to trade DeRosa for the pair.
