Wednesday lineup and quick tidbits; more to follow
* TLR confirmed that John Smoltz will start Sunday, and then next weekend — probably Saturday — against Washington.
* Colby Rasmus said he’s feeling better today, and he’s back in the lineup.
* Mitchell Boggs will be sent out to make room for Smoltz.

For my money, Kershaw is the toughest pitcher we will face from here until the end of the year… Blue Jays should’ve pushed harder for him in a deal for Halladay, as he’d be about the only piece truly worth giving up for ace for. Here’s hoping we catch him on an off-night tonight, though he certainly looks good thus far, so… here’s hoping that Wainwright can outlast him and the Cards row can up his pitch count early on.
