Well, Dude, we just don’t know (aka, predictions)

Let’s just get ‘em out there, so you can ridicule me now and in October:

AL East: Red Sox
AL Central: White Sox
AL West: Rangers
AL Wild Card: Rays

(Fully prepared to be dead wrong on the Yankees, but I just see a whole lot of ways that can go wrong)

NL East:  Braves
NL Central: Reds (Cardinals second, then MIL, CHC, HOU, PIT)
NL West: Rockies
NL Wild Card: Phillies

(take above comment on Yankees, apply to Phillies)

AL MVP: Evan Longoria
AL CY: Jon Lester
AL Rookie: Jeremy Hellickson
AL Mgr: Joe Maddon

NL MVP: Troy Tulowitzki
NL CY: Josh Johnson
NL Rookie: Freddie Freeman
NL Mgr: Fredi Gonzalez

Love that wildcard & post-season award predictions for the AL :)

I’m going to link these to the UCB predictions, count them as your entry. :)

Just hope the Cardinals have a sell-out crowd for every single home game, so the owners can have enough money to afford Albert Pujols next year!!

Hope you’re right about TB in AL East. Hope you’re wrong about NL Central. Would love to see a TB/STL series. I confess I have a team in each league–TB is my ‘home team’. In a series like that I can’t lose although I’d be rooting for STL.

You suck, cards are taking the central this year! Just saying, you can’t be a beat reporter for stl. and pick the reds

Um, why can’t I? You do understand that I cover the team, not cheer for them, right? I’m not paid to be a fan. I’m paid to be a reporter.

Additionally, if you can’t avoid personal insults, you are simply not welcome here. Take it elsewhere.

AL East: Red Sox
AL Central: Twins
AL West: Rangers
AL Wild Card: Yankees

NL East: Phillies
NL Central: Brewers (Reds, Cards, Pirates, Cubs, Astros in order of finish)
NL West: Giants
NL Wild Card: Braves

Pirates have a lot of young talent and will be respectful (70-75 wins).

Well, if it can’t be the Cardinals getting beat in the NLDS, then I’d prefer for it to be the Brewers instead of the Reds.

Matt,
What team will have the best record in baseball this year?

Red Sox seem like the best bet to me.
