I would like to see Molina hit behind Berkman

It is painfully obvious that Albert is not the Albert of the last 10 or so years. I was wondering if it is possible that his struggles are mechanical. If you look at photos of his batting stance between ’03 and ’09, he has a slightly higher center of gravity and his bat is nearly vertical, or perpendicular to the ground, with his hands even or just below his right ear. This year (and referencing last night’s game vs. Philly) he seems to have lowered his center of gravity 3-5 inches and his bat is more wrapped behind his head. Has anyone else noticed the change in stance? Was the change deliberate, or just a “feel” thing. Either way, here’s hoping Albert gets back to terrorizing pitchers soon. With the resurgence of Berkman and the stellar lumber work by Holliday – this team could be unstoppable.

Any chance of Franklin being DFA’d when Tallet is ready to join the team?

Why is Gerald Laird getting so much time at catcher? I remember over the last couple years it’s pretty much been The Molina Show.
